Privacy statement
What Eetspots keeps about you, and why.
Searching without an account
You can search without an account. We count how often something is searched and which links are clicked, without linking that to a person. To prevent abuse we use your IP address briefly in the server's memory, in a form that cannot be recognised; we do not store it.
Free tables
When you search or view a restaurant, our server asks that restaurant's reservation system for free tables. Only the day and the number of people are sent, nothing about you. If you click a time or an order button, you go to the site of the restaurant or its system. Their terms apply there.
Saving and accounts
You can save restaurants with a random code in your browser. If you create an account, we keep your email address and what you have saved. You log in with a link or code by email, which we send through Brevo. You can download your data and delete your account under Mine.
Contact and reports
If you send a message or a report, we keep your name, email address and message for as long as we need to respond.
Cookies
Eetspots only uses cookies that are needed: to keep you logged in, to remember your saved restaurants and to know your language. There are no advertising cookies.
Your rights
You may ask which data we have about you, and have it changed or deleted. You can do this through Contact. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
